MGM Grand Garden Arena
Nine Inch Nails' Peel it Back Tour might have one of its most memorable nights when it hits the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, March 7th. It's going to be a mix of the old and the new tracks in a visual spectacle for the ages. If you're an NIN fan, it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance. You could sugarcoat it all you want, but truth be told, you're not going to find a better way to anchor a Vegas weekend than this one.
The band worked on the TRON: Aros soundtrack. That's the name of their latest album. It features a ton of amazing tracks that are sure to get the crowd's blood boiling from the early moments of the show. You'll get those songs mixed with Nine Inch Nails classics. This show's shaping up to be epic. Yes, you could try and find one of the stops on the "Peel It Back Tour" from NIN that's closer to you. Would it match this Vegas experience that you can make a weekend out of? That answer is probably not. There's a versatility to the Grand Garden Arena that you just don't get at other venues, to ensure that seating and the different visual elements will fit a particular show perfectly. In this case, they're only opening up about 3/4 of the venue with an extensive floor area where you can have that true rock concert experience.
If you're a massive Nine Inch Nails fan, "As Alive As You Need Me to Be" is a regular staple on your playlists at this point. You may even be picking up some other favorites from that release. Expect a lot of those red neon lights that are a heavy emphasis in the TRON movie posters to be a part of the performance. All of this doesn't mean, though, that we won't get live renditions of classics like "Closer" and "Everyday is Exactly the Same." This concert experience promises to blend the old and the new elements that Nine Inch Nails want to bring to the table perfectly.
About 3/4 of the arena is going to be made available. One of the great things about this setup is that even on the upper levels, you're not going to feel like you're seeing a distant vantage point. Of course, though, if you're looking for the rock show experience, there's nothing better than being on the main floor. If you're ready to craft a Vegas getaway for the weekend of March 7th, this could be your perfect anchor!
